Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast in Arusha, your safari guide will pick you up and drive you to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. You will enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, and a wide variety of bird species. In the late afternoon, you will drive to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

Following breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic gem nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Enjoy a game drive through lush groundwater forests and open grasslands, with opportunities to spot tree-climbing lions, hippos, elephants, and flamingos along the lake shores. In the late afternoon, head towards Karatu or the Ngorongoro highlands for dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive inside the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, you will ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
