This 6-day Tanzania safari combines thrilling wildlife encounters with rich cultural experiences. You will explore Tarangire National Park, famous for its majestic baobabs and huge elephant herds, and the Ngorongoro Crater, home to an incredible density of wildlife including the rare black rhino. To add a cultural dimension, you will also visit Lake Eyasi, where the Hadzabe Bushmen and Datoga tribes share their traditional way of life. This journey blends unforgettable game drives with authentic cultural interactions, giving you the perfect balance between wildlife adventure and cultural immersion.

Upon arrival at either Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), your private driver-guide will greet you and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation while you prepare for the adventure ahead.
After breakfast, depart from Arusha at 8:30 AM for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch. Known for its iconic baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire is home to diverse wildlife including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and even the rare fringe-eared oryx. After a full day of game drives, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Enjoy a full day exploring Tarangire’s varied landscapes and nine distinct vegetation zones. You’ll encounter elephants, zebras, antelopes, lions, and possibly the elusive tree-climbing python. A picnic lunch will be served in the park before continuing with game drives until late afternoon. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Start early with a 6:30 AM descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest unbroken caldera in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its dense wildlife population, you’ll spot elephants, buffaloes, hippos, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and possibly the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, ascend and continue your journey to Lake Eyasi for dinner and overnight.
This day is dedicated to cultural immersion with the Hadzabe Bushmen and Datoga tribe. The Hadzabe will demonstrate traditional bow-and-arrow hunting skills, fire-making, and their click-based language. You’ll also meet the Datoga people, skilled pastoralists and blacksmiths. After this enriching cultural experience, return to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
After a relaxing breakfast, your driver will transfer you to the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your unforgettable safari and cultural adventure.
